　　Set in an underground dungeon inhabited by bundled, ragged human beings, after the nuclear holocaust. The story follows the wanderings of a hero through the situations of survival. People wait for the Ark to arrive and rescue them while their habitat falls apart.　　Delving deep into the dusty and long abandonded vaults of b-cinema in search of lost gems always leaves me with a bittersweet taste. On one hand the discovery of unexpected gems where no one would think them possible is a rewarding experience. On the other hand though it makes one wonder how many of these remarkable low-budget oddities, personal love affairs of directors never quite famous and now all but forgotten, have almost forever slipped from memory?　　n any case what we have here is a little post-apocalyptic gem from Poland that is really better than it has any right to. The dystopian near future of O-BI, O-BA finds a group of survivors of the nuclear war that ravaged the Earth inhabiting an underworld concrete bunker and biding their time as they wait for the mysterious Ark, an air ship of some kind that will come and save them. The Ark proves to be an elaborate hoax, carefully designed to give hope to the malnourished and desperate denizens of the bunker, while in the meantime the dome that separates their miserable existence from the nuclear winter outside is slowly caving in.　　What first striked me about the movie is the design of the bunker and the depiction of the survivors. The survivors are gaunt, filthy and terrible-looking penitents, dressed in rags and aimlessly wandering the neon-lit halls of the bunker like automatons. The bunker is a rundown, seedy place, with bright neon lights peering from all sides like the eyes of malignant beasts.　　On one hand it is a slightly 80's depiction of the dystopian future but the movie never stoops down to MAD MAX cheese. Instead it combines biting political satire with the bleak outlook of a world with no future, black comedy with barbs on apathy, religion and power. The survivors, for example, are fed some kind of flour dropping from a tube that hovers in the air - later on we discover the food supervisor uses books and the Bible itself as filler for this meagre meal. There are many such short symbolic touches, perhaps not life-changing or faith-restoring, yet playful, clever and inspired.　　One thing is for sure; O-BI, O-BA is not your run-of-the-mill sci-fi schlock. It overcomes its modest budget with creativity and has genuine artistic aspirations both from a writing and directing perspective. My opinion is that it should have been filmed in black and white instead of colour though. The director uses atmospheric light and shadow to great effect and it would have registered even better in stark black and white. The blue-green neon on the other hand outstays its welcome after a while. Just a minor gripe in an otherwise solid b-movie with its heart set in all the right places.　　Imagine a less bleak THE ROAD (Cormac McCarthy) being injected with the satire and humour of DR.STRANGELOVE and you're getting there. See it if you can find it.

 1976年，8岁的玛丽·黛西·丁格尔（贝丝妮·惠特摩尔 Bethany Whitmore 配音）是澳大利亚墨尔本的一个小女孩，喜欢动画片“诺布利特”、甜炼乳和巧克力。玛丽的妈妈是个酒鬼，而在茶叶包装厂工作的父亲平日只喜欢制作鸟标本。孤独的玛丽没有朋友，某一天心血来潮给美国纽约市的马克思·杰瑞·霍罗威茨（菲利普·塞默·霍夫曼 Philip Seymour Hoffman 配音）写了一封信询问美国小孩从哪里来，并附上一根樱桃巧克力棒。44岁的马克思患有自闭症及肥胖，碰巧也喜欢看“诺布利特”动画片及吃巧克力。二人的笔友关系从1976年维持到1994年，期间各自经历了许多人生起伏，直到成年的玛丽（托妮·科莱特 Toni Collette 配音）终于来到纽约看望马克思……本片获2009年法国昂锡国际动画影展最佳动画长片奖，柏林国际电影节水晶熊奖及渥太华国际动画电影节最高奖。

 该剧主要讲述了古代传奇女侠李四娘的一段经历。挥剑断水,水更流,血溅四方,收刀看山,山在天,玉女情仇。 明嘉历年间,从长白山到广东参加武林大会的武林顶尖高手敖龙带着师弟王虎,在客栈轻易击败“山西五虎”，得到暗中观看的客栈老板娘李四娘的亲腻，敖龙经不起媚香软骨、自投罗网的与李四娘一夜快活风流......次日，敖龙带领徒儿到玉女山庄找到庄主杨夫人报两年前的 之仇，一翻惊心动魄的打斗后，最后师弟王虎感觉事有蹊跷，即提出在武林大会中解决两家的仇怨。 武林大会在盟主齐大侠的主持下进行，敖龙此时并没有在大会上提出与杨夫人的仇怨，使杨夫人顿感诧异。而有两个为家中鸡鸭偷抢的人来到武林大会要求解决，齐大侠顿时感到杀机重重一场武林浩劫可能即将到来。夜间晚宴，果然有人提出重选新盟主，武林群雄力推齐大侠连任，只有敖龙反对，导致所有人不欢而散，群雄聚宴，酒后的李四娘不惜肌肤相亲、百般挑逗引诱少林大师，让大师神魂颠倒......此举恰被一道姑瞅到，顿然芳心荡漾、意乱魂迷，大胆飞纸传情约大师林中风流......当晚，敖龙与李四娘合谋用计在客栈将齐大侠害死，抢走“秘籍”，并嫁祸杨夫人。师弟王虎出于仁义，决心帮助杨夫人。杨夫人的老公杨充见王虎与自己老婆接角频，顿起疑心，暗中监视。恰恰王虎误入闰房撞见在洗浴中的杨夫人......被杨充当场遇到，杨充急火冲天，一气之下挟女儿愤然离开山庄，那知半路被走火入魔的敖龙擒住。一场郊外的血腥混战，让本不平静的江湖再掀风云，武林的浩劫终于爆发了.........

 基克尔（弗雷德里克·马奇 Fredric March 饰）是一名知识非常渊博的科学家，他将毕生的经历都投注到了探索人性的善恶奥妙之中，并且最终制造出了一种可怕的药剂，这种药剂能够令基克尔化身成为海德先生，基克尔将自己所有的恶意和坏念头都投射到了海德的大脑里。白天，基克尔行医救人乐善好施，待到夜幕降临，海德先生便会现身，杀人害命，无恶不作。基克尔有一位名叫伊芙（米利亚姆·霍普金斯 Miriam Hopkins 饰）的未婚妻，两人之间的感情非常的要好，然而，海德先生的存在让基克尔不自觉的被名叫碧翠丝（Eric Wilton 饰）的放荡妓女所吸引。分裂的人格让基克尔感到万分的痛苦，他想要消灭海德先生。

　　半年前，17岁的布兰特（Xavier Samuel 饰）与父亲驾车遭遇车祸，父亲身亡，布兰特和母亲始终没有从伤痛中走出。同校的劳拉（Robin McLeavy 饰）邀请布兰特同去舞会，布兰特木讷的予以拒绝，转头陪伴自己的女友赫莉。当天布兰特独身在野外攀岩，当他来到山顶时，久候多时的劳拉之父将他麻醉带走。　　布兰特醒来时，发现自己被困在劳拉家中，这个看上去文静的微胖女孩居然利用自己的父亲将多位男孩绑架，父女二人残酷的虐待他们，最后用电钻把他们的头骨钻开变成嘶哑的痴呆。劳拉的母亲也不能免于折磨，她形容枯槁奄奄一息，被父女二人视为无物。面对这对关系暧昧的怪异父女，布兰特必须用尽一切办法自救……
