　　圣涵高中同寝室的三姐妹，经常被学姐微微欺辱，不堪忍受的三人为了报复微微，将一段被诅咒的死亡视频发给了她，至微微死亡。然而，姐妹三人也难逃贞子缠身的诅咒，室友莉娜离奇死去。走投无路的两姐妹，决定请笔仙帮忙对付贞子，不料却招来了另一个强大的恶灵，中日两大女鬼大战一触即发……

　　故事背景设置在不远的未来世界，在414区的人型机器人殖民地中，私家侦探大卫·卡迈克尔(皮尔斯饰)受雇于痴迷商业世界的财阀马龙·维特(费米尔饰)去寻找后者叛逆的女儿。卡迈克尔需要与高度智能的机器人(鲁茨饰)通力合作，而在这个过程中，关于414区和“机器人之城”起源的罪行也浮出了水面。

这是系列首次以露伴的责任编辑、同时也是其得力搭档——泉京香为主人公展开的故事。这一次，京香因露伴的一句话，被卷入一场难以想象的怪异事件。本作在原作者荒木飞吕彦的协助下完成剧本创作，并由在国际上也备受关注的导演组合“5月”的关友太郎与平濑谦太朗共同执笔，推出全新原创故事。

Ayşe, Ali, Mehmet and Zeynep are middle-class millennials struggling to make ends meet in Istanbul. Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. 　　However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. 　　Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble. 　　A doctor works to cure patients suffering from crippling phobias by placing them inside his invention which induces and controls hallucinations. 

在二战后尚未归还日本的冲绳岛上，有一群人自可怕的「铁暴风」中幸存下来。他们像动物般活在残破的世界，眼前是垂死的岛民和尸体。于是他们从美军的仓库和基地抢夺物资，延续这座岛上未完的战争，他们被叫做「战果捞客」。直到那一夜，阿恩（永山瑛太 饰）在嘉手纳基地的逃亡过程中神秘失踪，一场曾将故乡烧毁殆尽的铁暴风再度席卷这座岛屿而来。 「活下去，生还才是最大的战果。」多年之后，岛上女孩接连惨遭杀害，一名菜鸟琉球警察（妻夫木聪 饰）奉令侦办命案。追捕疑犯的过程中，在凶手车子里发现的人骨和一名神秘出现的男孩，让他儿时身为战果捞客的记忆与一道道未解谜团又重回脑海。
